Serves as senior technical authority for electrical, automation, controls, and multidisciplinary capital projects across regional industrial operations. Defines project scopes, design criteria, interfaces, and deliverables; reviews designs, risks, estimates, schedules, vendor proposals, and phase-gate readiness. Integrates combustion systems, instrumentation, control logic, safety systems, and commissioning requirements. Develops engineering standards, improves project governance, and supports engineering-firm performance. Regular travel to Northeast regional operations is required.

Serves as the senior mechanical technical authority for regional capital projects, guiding project teams from early definition through phase-gate readiness. Reviews designs, specifications, estimates, schedules, tenders, execution plans, and supplier proposals; validates safety, environmental, regulatory, operational, maintenance, and engineering requirements; develops standards; supports audits and value engineering; and integrates lessons learned. Regular travel to Northeast facilities is required for onsite support and collaboration with project, operations, maintenance, reliability, EHS, and engineering partners.

Advises business, technology, and plant stakeholders on cybersecurity risks across IT and OT environments. Leads secure architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, control implementation, incident response planning, audits, compliance documentation, and policy improvements. Supports cloud security, IAM, Zero Trust, AI governance, and industrial cybersecurity initiatives while aligning controls with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443 frameworks.

Lead end-to-end AI and data science initiatives across Alcoa’s Operations and Enterprise functions. Develop, validate, deploy, and continuously improve statistical, machine learning, generative AI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions. Translate business challenges into scalable models, evaluate outcomes, and deliver measurable value. Provide technical leadership, mentor data scientists, and collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to build trusted, responsible AI capabilities.
