Canadian software company Uno Platform has raised $3.5 million CAD in a seed funding round led by AQC Capital, with support from Desjardins Capital and Oliva Capital. This brings the company’s total funding to $6.5 million CAD to date, according to a news release.
Uno Platform already serves major companies like Toyota and Microsoft and says the funding will accelerate the launch of Uno Platform Studio, which includes Hot Design, a visual designer that allows developers to pause a live app and visually edit its interface in real time.
In a statement, CEO François Tanguay emphasized the significance of raising funds entirely from Canadian investors: “Raising this round entirely with Canadian capital is a proud milestone, not just for Uno Platform, but for the Canadian tech ecosystem as a whole. It shows that world-class innovation is happening right here at home. This investment allows us to keep growing in Canada, reinvest in Canadian talent and help shape the future of global software development from our own backyard.”
