Tensorium, a company specializing in AI infrastructure, has announced plans to open its largest and most advanced data center to date in Montreal.
According to a news release, the upcoming facility will feature next-generation cooling systems that use liquid immersion technology and AI-driven thermal optimization. By taking advantage of the region’s naturally cool climate, the center is projected to cut cooling costs by over 40 percent compared to standard industry practices, reducing its environmental footprint.
“Our Montreal site represents a leap forward — not just in raw computing power, but in how future data centers should be built: efficient, smart and environmentally conscious,” Alfred Fadden, CEO of Tensorium, said in a statement.
Once operational, the center will house 10,000 high-performance CPU clusters and more than 10,000 GPU clusters, including advanced models such as the NVIDIA L40s and GB200, which will serve a range of AI-focused clients.
