CM Labs Simulations, a Montreal-based provider of training simulation solutions for the construction, utilities and port industries, has acquired AI Redefined, a fellow Montreal company specializing in human-AI collaboration.

The acquisition is aimed at accelerating workforce development and enhancing CM Labs’ Vortex platform, which delivers immersive, real-time training environments.

AIR’s technology enables the seamless integration of AI into training programs, according to the acquisition announcement. Originally developed for high-stakes sectors such as aerospace and defense, this AI capability supports CM Labs’ mission to create adaptive learning experiences that evolve alongside the learner.

“CM Labs has always been more than a technology company — we’re a catalyst for industry transformation. This acquisition reaffirms our leadership at the intersection of simulation and intelligent systems. As industries confront increasingly complex training needs, CM Labs remains committed to unlocking human potential through adaptive, immersive solutions,” Danial Alizadeh of CM Labs said in a statement.
