In this role you will:
- Provide support across a variety of branch locations within a specific geography where a banker or teller is out of the office or to temporarily cover vacancies
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new surroundings while meeting customer needs
- Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach as well as proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
- Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
- Receive direction from managers and exercise judgement within defined policies and procedures
- Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
- Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
- Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customer
- Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
- 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 6+ months of hands-on experience in the banking industry
- Strong customer service skills, with a knack for handling complex transactions across multiple systems
- Comfortable reaching out to customers by phone or email to offer support and solutions
- Passionate about helping customers discover and use mobile banking tools to make their lives easier
- Dedicated to helping customers achieve financial success by connecting them with the right team members
- Enjoy working collaboratively with teammates to meet customer needs
- Skilled at building lasting relationships with customers and earning their trust
- Great at partnering with internal teams to deliver seamless service
- Detail-oriented and committed to following policies, procedures, and regulations
- Able to spot potential fraud or risky accounts and take action to protect customers and the business
- Always professional and respectful when interacting with customers and colleagues
- Military experience that includes working with protocols, evaluations, and leadership reporting
- Background in managing military personnel benefits, transitions, readiness operations, and recruiting
- Proficient in sourcing, acquiring, and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and coworkers
- Experienced in resolving concerns and escalating issues when needed to ensure satisfaction
- Ability to travel 100% of the time within the district: Roving bankers are required to commute often from branch to branch. Roving Bankers will have a home branch, and commute/mileage is calculated from there. Roving Banker can travel up to 40 miles
- Commute to the assigned location(s) for the duration of the branch assignment (reimbursement for mileage is provided)
- Ability to work a schedule that may include some Saturdays: Candidate will need to be able to work Monday-Friday as early as 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am-1pm. Times can vary based off business need
- Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) website (http://fedregistry.nationwidelicensingsystem.org) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position. Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation.
