Job Description
As a PSP Manager, join the PSP team launching and managing programs known for their expertise, quality and innovation.
With over 250 molecules, including the largest molecules on the market, Sandoz holds the most significant product portfolios in Canada. Biosimilars and complex generics are important contributors to the changing landscape of Canadian healthcare. They offer greater access to safe and effective medications. Patient support programs are a priority partner to patients and health care professional and thus, Sandoz offers rewarding careers managing these programs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- In collaboration with the respective Brand teams, define program services including but not exclusively financial and co-pay assistance strategy, clinical, administrative and educational activities.
- Support/manage successful implementation of any new services launched/administered and/or at third party vendors including planning, designing, managing, building and launching along with ensuring adequate staffing for operational support
- Identify, select and manage third-party partners for the administration and operations
- Define quality standards and key performance indicators for the programs to maximize its success and oversee third party compliance.
- Accountable for ongoing management of the programs’ budget
- Ensure the conduct of programs is done according to internal, global, Canadian Provincial and Federal guidelines or procedures
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- University Degree in Healthcare (Pharmacist, Nurse) or Business administration.
- 7 to 12 years experience in patient services or similar preferred (including specialty pharmacy distribution & capabilities, patient care coordination, operational workflows, and managed care knowledge).
- Understanding of Canadian market access environment.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing indirectly a team.
- Budget management experience.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory. Due to the nature of our operations, oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
- Team player and comfortable in a matrix organization.
- Patient and HCP focused.
- Strategic thinker.
- Capacity to work on multiple projects at the same time, good organizational / priority skills to meet deadlines.
- Innovative and solution oriented.
- Able to cope with ambiguity.
- Very high work ethic.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Vendor management, program management and project management experience preferred.
- Experience in Immunology, Multiple Sclerosis or Oncology is an asset.
- CRM (with base SAP) experience.
