Job Description

Reporting to the Marketing Project MAnager for the PENN.Penningtons brand the Marketing Coordinator ensures effective implementation of promotions and marketing tools and programs at store level by managing a comprehensive communication program to the stores. Ensures efficient and timely development of POP and other support material by acting as central coordinator between the Visual, Marketing, Merchandising and Operations teams. Coordinates store openings, renovations and special in-store events. Acts as key person for field requests at all levels; from Store Managers to Store Operations team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the end-to-end production process of all in-store printed marketing materials: prepare briefs, define required dimensions, estimate costs, establish timelines, manage production, and coordinate delivery to stores.
  • Collaborate with the design team, review visuals, and facilitate the approval process with all key team members.
  • Be responsible for all sets of printed marketing materials.
  • Plan, organize, and lead regular meetings with various departments to plan and edit all seasonal POP (Point of Purchase) materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date planning tools such as production lists and signage inventories to support departments in planning, forecasting, production, and shipping of various marketing tools.
  • Support the visual presentation and marketing teams in special projects and testing new initiatives by ensuring the production and shipment of various tools and coordinating related steps (store delivery, store communication, inquiries to store planning).
  • Participate in meetings for store openings and renovations to manage the timeline for all relevant marketing materials.
  • Execute the communication plan to ensure timely implementation of seasonal POP programs in stores.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • University or college degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe is an asset.
  • Experience coordinating projects, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Bilingual to communicate with stores across Canada
