We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with a strong analytical mindset and deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems that safeguard our organization’s infrastructure, data, and digital assets.

You should bring a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and manage security measures to protect company data, systems, and networks.
  • Monitor and upgrade security systems to ensure ongoing protection and compliance.
  • Detect, investigate, and respond to system and network security incidents.
  • Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability testing, and risk assessments.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, and Data Loss Prevention tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all operations.
  • Participate in the change management and incident response processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and prepare regular reports on security posture and incidents.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, including incident detection and response.
  • Hands-on experience with Firewalls, Office 365 Security, Endpoint Protection, and VSX.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node.js, Go, or PowerShell.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
