About the Role

We're seeking a Business Development Lead to drive go-to-market and strategic partnership initiatives at pod.network. This role is ideal for someone who excels in relationship-building, understands technical sales, and is excited to navigate the highly dynamic world of Web3. You’ll work directly with the CEO and own our BD pipeline end-to-end—from sourcing and nurturing high-leverage partnerships to closing deals and ensuring impactful integrations.

We're looking for a high-integrity operator who’s excited to be the face of pod at events and online, comfortable traveling frequently, and capable of quickly grasping technical concepts. You don't need to come from Web3, but you should have experience with technical sales and be deeply curious about the space.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of pod’s architecture and identify how it can serve new or emerging use cases.

  • Own pod’s entire BD pipeline: source, prioritize, and close strategic partnerships.

  • Identify and reach out to potential partners that align with pod’s vision and technical capabilities.

  • Leverage your network (and build new ones) to open doors and create opportunities.

  • Craft compelling partnership strategies and proposals that drive adoption.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product to sharpen positioning and messaging.

  • Represent pod at major conferences and events globally.

  • Stay active in crypto-native channels (Telegram, Twitter/X) to track trends, narratives, and community conversations.

What Makes a Great Fit
  • High integrity and clear communication—you're someone people trust and want to work with.

  • Demonstrable experience with technical sales pipelines, ideally with B2B infrastructure products.

  • Comfortable translating technical concepts into business value.

  • Fast learner with an appetite to stay ahead of market trends and dynamics.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills—both 1:1 and in front of a crowd.

  • Willingness to travel for conferences, events, and client meetings.

Nice to Have
  • Strong understanding of the crypto space—narratives, protocols, and major players.

  • Active and visible in crypto spaces (X/Twitter, Telegram).

  • Prior experience working in or with Web3 companies, protocols, or foundations.

  • Based in the US (ideally NY).

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary.

  • High-impact role in an ambitious, fast-moving startup.

  • Travel opportunities and thought leadership visibility in the crypto community.
